Welcome to our “30 Best Gifts for 5-year-olds in 2023” list! By now, your 5-year-old has likely figured out most of your triggers and has acquired an uncanny ability to set them off at the most inopportune times. You may find yourself arguing over why it’s necessary to wear shoes, why a straw should be used for drinking and not to pick snot out of one’s nose, and why you cannot, in fact, ride your bicycle to Mars. You may also find yourself wondering if you’ve done some sort of permanent damage to your child with whatever answer you gave, and the answer is probably yes.

Kidding. Maybe. We hope not. That’s what I keep telling myself, but I guess only time will tell…!
